I am a mom but I love to feel sexy and black is the color to do it.

Little Letters of my life

Here is someone who is sneaking into my bed to watch his show, hehe.  I just love it.

How to make a beaded spider!

What do you think of my jewelry spider?!  Do you want to know how to make it? I used this cute little spider on my Halloween wreath and my tag. Here is what you will need.

1. Clear beads

2. Medium and small red beads

3. Spacers

4. Jewelry pliers

5. 24 gauge wire

The first thing you will need to do is cut the wire into 6 equal length and 2 wire need to be smaller in size then twist one of the ends into loops.  The wires you just cut will be the legs of the spider. 

You can now cut another piece of wire the same length as the spider legs and again twist one end into a loop.  Once you have made loop place a clear round bead at the end, followed by a spacer and then a large colored bead.  Take all 8 legs that you have already looped and place them on the wire after the larger bead. 

Now its going to start looking like a spider, add another spacer and then a smaller colored bead on the wire.  You will need to add a clear bead at the end of the last spacer before twisting into loop. 

You will need this kind of bead for the legs. I found a small bag of these at Michaels and they where not cost you much more that two dollars. 

One each leg you will alternate a small bead with a long bead until you reach the end of the wire and you twist it into a loop. Do this for all 8 legs and now you can rearrange the legs to make a lovely spider. At least this spider won't bite you or crawl all over you!

The power of Wonder Woman Shoes!

As I was surfing around I found this cute Wonder Woman converse from Journey! My little one has a pair of Flash and Batman converse and I was oblivious that they also make them for adults!! I am going to try to get a pair of Wonder Woman converse soon.

I wonder if this shoes will give me the strength to do all the thing on my to do list which I never finish.

I also found these cute Wonder Woman heels, which I like but realistically being a mom wearing heels is not always a good idea. I have little toddler who loves to run away from me, so I would not be able to wear them all the time but I wish I could!

DIY Halloween Place Mats

If you don't know by now, I just love Halloween and I am being trying to figure out what would make my Halloween dinning table complete. Of course I need Halloween place mats! I had a lot of Halloween fabric from last year because every year I go purchase any new cute Halloween fabric from Joann's. I went through my seasonal place mats and I noticed that I had black place mats that were looking pretty old and I did not want to throw them out so as a crafter what we do best?!

Re-purpose it with new fabric of course!

I decide to make each place mat differently, the first fabric I chose was from Joann's last year collection but they also brought it back this year.  It has witches hats and pumpkins on it, I think its a very popular fabric for them to have it again this year. The first thing I did was cut the fabric a few inches smaller than the original place mat I am going to attach it to. 

Then I cut the border fabric into strips of an inch and half.

All I did was sew the border to the center fabric and then iron it flat by the seems.

The last step is to sew the black place mat to the Halloween fabric and now you have your finished place mat. 

I did two different versions of the Halloween place mats. The last place mat edges where not perfect but it adds to the imperfection of Halloween!

Weekend Recap at Sea World!

It was our first time at sea world and we had a fantastic time. My little one had a blast! We only got to watch two shows because it seemed to be the hottest day ever and we were tired. We hope to go back really soon to finish seeing the rest of the park. 

One of the thing that I loved doing at the park was feeding bat rays! They where so cute and it felt really funny trying to feed them. 

My little one loved running around and stretching his legs after the shows. The park seemed spacious when the shows were going on and it was the best time to go on rides and see all the animals because their were no lines. 

They had cute little rides for my little monster, he just loved riding them. He did not want to get off! 

He also loved riding the tea cups but I am no so sure about the kiss, haha. 

We saw fantastic animals and had a blast. I hope you had a fantastic weekend too!

Geeking out with Tea Dispenser Diver!

Who would not love this little diver in your tea cup?! Why dunk a regular old tea bag that looks horrible when you can use this little diver to do the same thing? Its way more stylish, haha. 

I don't drink tea but I would so get one and make myself like hot tea. My hubby just can't believe I would do that, but I need to give up soda and this would definitively be worth it!

Hanging out with Dinah from DIY Inspired!

I just moved to California not so long ago and it always fun to meet a fellow blogger especially one that you admire. I had a blast getting to know Dinah from DIY Inspired. We went shopping at one of my favorite places ever Target! We even got to stop in at Anthropology, we saw the cutest thing that we all want but can't have, haha.

We also stopped by anthropology and got our fill of inspiration! I just fell in lve with the test tube center piece just in time for Halloween!

Just in time for school my little one decided he wanted to start wearing a backpack and of course it has a dog on it. He likes to carry his favorite toys in it everywhere we go. The only problem is that  its not his time for him to go to school. They always want to grow up too fast. 

I also stopped by the .99 cent store and I found this cute little glass pumpkins and of course they are only .99 cents. I am going to display them on my porch and light them up!
