Handmade Jeweled Christmas Ornament

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me... Jeweled Ornament!
Today is the last day of my 12 days of Christmas Crafts. Thank you everyone who commented and stopped by. I just had so much fun making everything.  I got this tutorial from Tim Holtz.  You can find it in more detail at http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/2011/12/12-tags-of-christmastag-10.html
Now lets begin!!

Materials:
1. Scrapbook paper with small design. (I used graphic 45 Christmas Emporium paper)
2. Glossy Accents glue
3. Scissors
4. Tim Holtz -Idea-ology - Facets
5. Inkssentials Surfaces Metal Foil Tape Sheets
6. Tape
7. Bowl with warm water
8. Ribbon

The first thing you would want to do is cut out the picture you would like and cover it with packing clear tape. Please make sure that the picture covers over the entire Facet.

Then place it under warm water, after a minute or two start rubbing the back of the taped area where the tape is not located. The paper should start peeling off.

Once finished it should look something like the picture above. Let the paper dry and then apply the metal foil to the back of the picture.  You will need to peel the back to attach it.

You would want to take the glossy accent and apply it to the back of the facet.  Once applied take an old credit card or ruler and press the back side to get all the access glue out and just let it dry. When everything is dry just cut any of the edges that might be poking out.

ta-da! You have a cute little jeweled ornament.

I even made some extras for another project I've been working. I use Graphic 45 Halloween In Wonderland paper.  I just love it! I could make them into ornaments or jewelry!

I hope you all had as much fun as I did.
Till Later
